Manager's Anti-Gay Remarks Draw Fire

SAN FRANCISCO -- In an interview with Playboy magazine, the Giants manager spared no words in expressing his dislike for San Francisco's gay community.

"Stay away from Candlestick Park," he said.  "Go to a ballet show, go singin' in the rain.  I don't want rainbow flags and streamers in the stands and our players being hit on.  This is an American game to be enjoyed by father and son.  I mean, at the pace we're going these fags will be married in twenty years.  We're not here to comfort you and include you."

The remarks immediately drew fire from GLAAD CEO Mike Perkins.  "I implore all fags to BOYCOTT the Giants and their hateful manager this year," he said.

"Good, boycott.  That's kind of what we want," the Manager said.  "Don't come.  Glad we're on the same page."
